BCAF (Bulgarian Charities Aid Foundation) is an expert organisation, working for the development of modern philanthropy and strong and effective non-profit sector.

BCAF is part of the global network of CAF Charities Aid Foundation) organisations with headquarters in the United Kingdom. CAF UK is a unique organisation with enormous contribution to the development of sustainable charitable sector. Its experience in providing services both to organisations and to donors has no equivalent.

In Bulgaria, BCAF is active in transferring models from CAF experiences in UK and elsewhere and adapting those to Bulgarian traditions and practices.

BCAF was founded on November 16, 1995. We are a registered charity number №20021107001.

BCAF (Bulgarian Charities Aid Foundation) was founded leading Bulgarian foundations: Evrika Foundation, Open Society Foundation - Sofia, St. Cyril and Methodius Foundation, and Union of Bulgarian Foundations and Associations. BCAF works in partnership with its founders in Bulgaria and is an active member of the global network of CAF organisations.
